Something Special In The Stands is a children’s book written by 20-year television broadcasting veteran Emily Jones McCoy. The story follows the main character, Hattie, on her first trip to the ballpark. While she’s there, Hattie meets two girls—Hannah and Amber—who show her the value in making new friends and teach her a few things about those with special needs. Join Shanna as she walks you through using a needle and thread to create a cool cuff-like woven bracelet. The technique used in this piece is called a peyote stitch. Knowledge of working with a needle and thread is helpful, but this stitch is perfect for all levels of beaders and crafters.
The class fee is $40. That includes a kit with everything you need to complete one peyote stitch bracelet as well as printed instructions with step by step photos. She will have additional kits available for purchase after class, should you decide you want to make another bracelet.
Class begins at 1 and will last until 4, so please arrive on time and ready to learn!
Join us in creating community and supporting small business by attending the first Arlington Foodies Farmer's Market - hosted by Arlington Foodies. We'll be holding the Market the 2nd Saturday of every month within the Urban Union area of Downtown Arlington.
We'll start with an outdoor practice on the patio of Union Worx, then head across the street to the Market! Your ticket includes an hour-long yoga practice and a beer/beverage of your choice from Legal Draft Beer Co.!
After class feel free to grab your drink and peruse all the homemade goods and produce from the market vendors!

What can you expect from this farmer's market located in downtown Arlington?
The Downtown Arlington Foodies Farmer's Market will be held the 2nd Saturday of every month between the hours of 2pm and 6pm on the pavers outside the taproom. There will bet 25 vendors, all food oriented, to bring your some of the freshest and cleanest food available in Arlington.

Please check in at our shuttle desk located 1/2 a block west of Legal Draft at Front & East St. on game day at least 20 minutes before your scheduled departure time to pickup your shuttle passes.
Shuttles will drop off at the corner of AT&T Blvd and Cowboys Way (southeast corner of AT&T Stadium) before the game.
Shuttles will pickup after the game/event at the FIRST BASE ENTRANCE of Rangers Baseball Stadium (closests corner of the baseball stadium to AT&T Stadium). One block east of AT&T Stadium.
Shuttle return service will start at the begining of the 4th quarter or approximately 45 mins before the conclusion of an event (non football events) and will continue for 1 hour after the game (or event) ends.
