After her Tucson Vista necklace and bracelet were featured on the cover of the August/September 2017 issue of Beadwork magazine, Shanna decided to make a simpler version of the necklace and came up with a simple pendant on chain. Then she decided to make a pair of earrings as well. They have become best-sellers and she is passing the pattern on to others.
This project is on the intermediate level, but with the step-by-step instructions and photos will be enough to help even the novice beader.
In this class, you will learn one of the following:
- How to create a Tucson Vista pendant necklace
- How to make a pair of Tucson Vista earrings
This class is a great introduction to the circular peyote stitch. In addition to learning that stitch, she will provide you with information about thread, needles, seed beads, and more.
You will receive one kit in class (either the necklace or earrings), but she will have additional kits for sale as well. For example, if you opt to learn the pendant in class, you can purchase a kit to learn how to make the Tucson Vista Earrings or the Tucson Vista Bracelet.
This class will be held at the brewery from 6pm until 7:30pm. I strongly recommend that you show up about 15 minutes early to claim your kit - and your chair - as we will start class promptly at 6:00.
